Rick Fedrizzi, CEO and Founding Chair of USGBC was in Seventhwave’s office on Thursday to help us celebrate a number of LEED achievements. Madison business and policy leaders joined us, Krupp General Contractors, Potter Lawson, and UW Health for LEEDing by Example—or Plaque-a-Palooza as it was affectionately known internally.
Rick shared his vision for the future of green buildings as a driving force for economic development and health. Paul Lenhart from Krupp reminded us that LEED buildings hold their value longer than lesser-performing buildings, and Andy Howick from UW Health shared that LEED is healthy for patients, employees and the environment.
